Partnering Across the Sectors of Higher Education

This event is an opportunity for women across sectors of higher education to hear from two leaders in the community college realm. Whether you are just curious about other types of higher education institutions, or actively seeking new opportunities, this session will open a dialogue about partnering across institutional types. Dr. Kathleen Hetherington, President of Howard Community College and Diane Bosak, VP for Workforce Development, Achieving the Dream, will lead the discussion.

Dr. Kathleen Hetherington, president of Howard Community College (HCC), has dedicated her career in higher education to advancing the mission of community colleges. With more than 40 years of progressively responsible community college leadership experience, Dr. Hetherington is the fourth president of Howard Community College (HCC) and the first to be a community college graduate.

Diane Bosak is Vice President for Workforce Strategies and Policy at Achieving the Dream.  In this role, Diane leads efforts around expanding workforce services with network colleges.
